He called the name of that place Bethel;
however, previously the name of the city had been Luz.
Bethel means "the House of God".
Luz means "nut", like an Almond.
Therefore, this place went from being "the nut house" to "the House of God"!
How appropriate really. He takes nut jobs like us and turns us in to temples for His place of dwelling.
Makes ya think......makes me chuckle. :o)
